what we do
Here at Rise Up, our focus is to work alongside ITOs (Industry Training Organisations, PTEs (Private Training Establishments) and individual consultants with expertise in delivering a broad range of career and industry based training programs that provide our disadvantaged Kiwi youth with opportunities to develop their careers. For many, these youth have not experienced what it’s like to work and earn an income that will help their family circumstances. We also partner with a number of large New Zealand employers that are prepared and willing to give these rangatahi a ‘second chance’ in life.
We are a new not-for-profit with a charitable cause committed to raising income in support of delivering a variety of vocational programs. Funds raised will not only support the foundation’s survival, but will also be used to facilitate the delivery of relevant programs for these young adults. Our goal is to reduce unemployment of our younger, employable generation, whilst providing career pathways and increasing the flow of money through their local communities. Our youth today are our leaders tomorrow.
