what we do
Here at Rise Up, our focus is to work alongside ITOs (Industry Training Organisations, PTEs (Private Training Establishments) and individual consultants with expertise in delivering a broad range of career and industry based training programs that provide our disadvantaged Kiwi youth with opportunities to develop their careers. For many, these youth have not experienced what it’s like to work and earn an income that will help their family circumstances. We also partner with a number of large New Zealand employers that are prepared and willing to give these rangatahi a ‘second chance’ in life.
The money raised from doing crazy, challenging physical events, or the donations, philanthropic contributions, corporate sponsorship and government grants received, will help to fund the identification and delivery of these skills based training programs and scholarships for this demographic. Our goal is to reduce unemployment of our younger, employable generation, whilst providing career pathways and increasing the flow of money through their local economies.
